Description
Khadlaj Oud Al Sabah – opens with a bright citrus burst (bergamot, mandarin, lemon) that quickly softens into a sweet, creamy vanilla heart. In the dry down you get warm lavender and a woody cedar base, which tries to feel elegant but ends up a bit flat.
To be honest, the scent smells quite synthetic, there’s a plastic‑sweet quality to the vanilla and amber that pulls it away from being truly sophisticated. And performance is weak: I only get around 3 hours (maximum!!!) of wear and the projection fades after 20–30 minutes. This matches my experience with other Khadlaj fragrances, nice smell but way too short-lived.
Bottom line: it’s an okay, affordable daily fragrance if you don’t mind having to reapply or don’t expect it to leave a strong presence.
